Born on the tropical island of Mauritius, Captain Jeremy grew up around the ocean and all manner of boats. In 2001 he immigrated to the United States where he attended both high school and college in Virginia. After discovering the crystal clear waters of St. John in July 2011 on a family vacation, Captain Jeremy made the move to St. John in October to be close to the ocean once more. Wanting to spend as much time as possible out on the water, he split his time working as crew on both a 60ft sail catamaran and a 60 ft power boat. After a two year break from island life, he returned in October 2014 having recently earned his 50 ton masters license.
Oliver spent his childhood on the shores of the Gulf Coast boating, fishing, surfing, and sailing. He has spent the last 11 years in the BVI and USVI expanding his knowledge of the seas through sailing, surfing, diving and other water sports. Captain Ollie's drive for adventure has led him to many places off-the-grid. Lucky for us, he likes to share tales from his often wild adventures. He's been chased through Central America by bandits, lost at sea in the Indian Ocean, come face to face with a cobra. He has outrun a tsunami, almost been hunted by machete-wielding headhunters in Brazil. All of these experiences have taught him to be resourceful, and to laugh.
Captain Morgan grew up near Kansas City, MO with roots in southern Louisiana.  After moving to St. John in 2011, he worked at various bars and restaurants while working towards earning his USCG Masters License. He has spent month sailing the Caribbean, visiting and exploring dozens of islands from Puerto Rico down through the Grenadines.  In these travels he climbed mountains, dove shipwrecks, and hiked into volcanoes.  These adventures have helped familiarize him with what the Caribbean has to offer, allowing him to share these experiences with others.

Born and raised in Snowmass, Colorado, Cody's home may be in the mountains, but his heart lies in the ocean.

He got his Open Water SCUBA certification at age 13, and became a PADI SCUBA Instructor in 2011.  His love for the ocean has pushed him to explore the underwater realm, from Florida and the Bahamas to the Hawaiian Islands, Indonesia, Thailand, Roatan and the Virgin Islands.

In 2014, Cody got his merchant mariner’s credential, and although still an active SCUBA Instructor, he now spends most of his time exploring the pristine waters and idyllic vistas in the U.S. and British Virgin Islands.

Captain Tom Larson grew up sailing in the Caribbean from the age of seven. He served with the U.S. Coast Guard for 20 years, retiring in 2005 and earning his 100-Ton Captain's License. Captain Tom and Amy married in 2005 and left California for a four year honeymoon on a 35ft sailboat. Sailing west around the world they spent four years covering over 28,000 nautical miles, visiting 30 countries and five continents. They now call St John their home.
I grew up on the front range of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. I spent my winters snowboarding and my summers boating. I attended Colorado State University and studied international recreation and tourism.  After graduating with a bachelors degree, I moved to Belize to intern for a dive company leading tours and driving the dive boats. 1 year later I made a home for myself on St. John being able to show people from around the world the beauty of the Virgin Islands!
Kemel Wilson is no stranger to the waters of the Virgin Islands as he was born is the states, but raised in the Virgin Islands . Kemel is currently a Pilot Boat Captain where he helps guide  large ships enter the Port of St Thomas. On his days off he like to show visitors around the islands on Ocean Runner Power Boats.
Katie is originally from Colorado and has lived in the US Virgin Islands off and on for 9 years .  She has worked both as a  Captain and as  Crew on many boats in the Caribbean and on the US East Coast  She  holds a US Coast Guard Masters Licence.
  • “Lobsters, Snorkeling and Cliff Jumping..oh my!” "We spent a glorious day with Captain Morgan! This was our first trip to the area and he managed to cram in a ton of activities and sights while still allowing us to just relax and take a slow, chill vacation day. There were 4 of us--two adults and our young adult children. He picked us up from St. Thomas and took the time to figure out what we wanted--rather than just taking us to a standard cookie cutter list of places. Over the course of the day we snorkeled and swam on quiet beaches, ate freshly cooked lobster at Sidney's, explored the area and capped off the afternoon with a leap off of a 40 foot cliff into the deep blue sea. Pure perfection. Morgan was friendly and fun. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing day on the water!"

  • "Our family of four spent the day with Jeremy as our Captain. He let us pick our day along with some of his suggestions. We ended up snorkeling at the Norman Island Caves and The Indians. Had a fabulous lunch at Pirates Bight , drinks and jumps at Willy T and finally spent some time at Jost Van Dyke and the beach . Jeremy was professional, friendly and we always felt safe. Would definitely recommend Ocean Runner for anyone looking for a day on the water." Visited July 2015

  • "What an experience. Took a trip to the British VI's to see the Bath's, Caves at Norman Island and Jost Van Dyke. Hired Ocean Runner to take us there for a full day trip. Captain Tom Larson took care of us like we were his own family. He was so knowledgeable when it came to the history of the islands surrounding St. John and the BVI's. Highly recommend Captain Larson and Ocean Runner for your excursions out of St. John."

  • "The boat we rented from Ocean Runner was well-maintained, the staff were courteous and obviously experienced, and the advice and service excellent!  We would strongly recommend OR to anyone seeking a powerboat rental while visiting St John."

  • "We have used Ocean Runner quite a few times during our family vacations and always have had a wonderful day. Last year we had a larger group and had to use another company. The difference was obvious from the get-go. Of course we enjoyed the day - it's impossible not to - but the overall experience was not up to what we have enjoyed with Ocean Runner."
